B.S. Nutrition
My name is Jenny Shapiro. I am a licensed child care provider, Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certified. I have a B.S.
degree in Nutrition from San Diego State University. I am also a volunteer teacher at Sunday School (Little Church) at St.
Catherine of Alexandria in Temecula. I am a Mommy of three cute kids, a 4-and-a-half-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy
and a 1-year-old baby girl. I love cooking and baking. I enjoy reading stories and doing Arts & Crafts with kids. I am
married to my college sweetheart, Mike.
I was an active student leader at San Diego University and have done a lot
of various volunteer works including teaching kids how to brush and floss at Tecate Orpahanage in Mexico (I was a Registered
Dental assistant for 15 years in a previous life). I held various student leader positions such as Oral Hygiene Trainer and
Preventive Dentistry Co-Coordinator.
I was born in the Philippines and am fluent in both English and Tagalog. I have
lived in Manila, San Diego, La Jolla and currently in Menifee.

Mike Shapiro, CFO / Webmaster
M.A. Chemistry
My name is Mike Shapiro and I'm the proud Daddy of the two little Pumpkins seen in the pictures above, and one more who
arrived just about a year ago. I am married to a beautiful woman named Jenny, who I met while taking a Scientific
Writing course at SDSU. I completed my Master's Degree in Chemistry at San Diego State in 2006 and I have spent the last eight
years working as a bioanalytical chemist in La Jolla, CA. I also just completed a month of rigorous grunt work in the backyard
transforming it from a dirt lot to a beautiful play area for the kids. In my spare time, I love baking apple-banana bread
for my wife and kids.
